Hey there, I’m Tom.
A little about me
I live in Nottingham, England with my fiancée Sophie and our equally adorable dachshund, Frankie. We share a love of passion fruit martinis, candlelit movie nights and of course, Taylor Swift.
I play football once a week in an attempt to keep fit, but also have the sweetest tooth known to man. I love films with storylines that require almost zero attention to understand and fantasy books that Sophie finds on BookTok.
A love of stories.
A connection with people.
At University I studied film production, but working my way up through a corporate chain just didn't appeal to me.
I wanted to be working directly with people, to really get to know them. The day I photographed my first wedding in 2019, I was hooked. Weddings gave me the creative freedom where I could shoot in my own modern, relaxed style and be a guide for my couples, allowing them to relax and be present on their wedding day.

My approachMy approach
You should feel no pressure to perform. I want you to feel entirely present and let the photos truly reflect the day.
There is no single wedding photographer that is perfect for every couple. They'll have a fundamental impact on the atmosphere of the day, as well as the memories that you're left with.
I'm often described as a 'relaxing presence'. Authoritative only when I need to be, and subtly driving the day forward so as to keep energy levels high.
I spend the time getting to know you and your guests so that when I'm working, everyone remains in their element. This approach in combination with my style of photography forms a blend of authenticity and editorialism.
I intentionally slow things down during the couple shoot: two effortless 10 minute sessions, timed so that your guests will barely notice you've been gone. It's enough time to create intimate images while keeping you present in your day.
There's no pressure to perform during your portraits, I'll be softly nudging you in the right direction and talking you through the whole thing.

The Dance Floor
I'm not a photographer who leaves as soon as you've finished your first dance, because those who know me know that I love a good night out and so I feel right at home on the dance floor. I'll swap to a wide angle lens, mount my flash gun and get into the middle of the action to document the chaos and jubilation that ensues.
Some of my all time favourite photos have come from the dance floor. This is the time for you and your guests to truly let your hair down — leave it until the morning to regret that I've captured absolutely everything.
